This policy covers Parallel Clone and this website. Apps you open within a clone are separate third-party services and have their own privacy policies.
Information on your device
Parallel Clone uses installed-app information to let you choose and manage clones. This includes app names, package names, icons, version details, and the locations of installed APK files.
It stores copied APKs, clone names and settings, app-container files, databases, preferences, cached files, local crash records, and optional PIN settings in its Android app storage. A cloned app may store its own account session and other information in its container.
Creating a clone does not copy the original app's private files or existing login. Runtime containers share the host app's Android identity; they are not separate operating-system security boundaries.
Support reports and screenshots
The current app saves crash diagnostics locally. Automatic background upload is not configured. When you choose to send a report, Android's sharing interface lets you select a recipient or another app.
A report may contain your description, device model and manufacturer, Android version, RAM information, Parallel Clone version, clone names and package details, error messages, stack traces, and runtime diagnostics. You can optionally attach a screenshot.
If you email us, we also receive your email address, message, and any attachments. We use them to investigate the issue and communicate with you. Diagnostic text and images can contain sensitive information: review them and remove passwords, PINs, OTPs, account numbers, chat content, and unrelated personal information before sharing.
When you create a support account, we store your name, email, account identifier and a salted password hash. We never store your password as plain text. Essential sign-in cookies identify your session; records may include your IP address, browser details and expiry time. Email addresses are not automatically verified and never grant staff access. We store your submitted app and device details, issue description, replies, optional attachments, consent record, and timestamps. Staff add investigation notes, assignments, priorities and resolution details. We keep an activity record of staff changes and attachment downloads and removals. Reports are accessible to their reporter and authorized support staff; internal notes are visible only to staff.
Portal records and files are stored with our hosting providers using Cloudflare D1 and R2. Files are not placed in public website assets. Uploading is optional and requires your action. Files are checked for allowed type and size, but are not malware-scanned or automatically stripped of hidden metadata. Do not upload private credentials or unredacted financial or chat records. This portal does not automatically collect Android logs or send reports to an AI service.
Website information and cookies
This website does not add advertising pixels, analytics trackers, a separate membership registration, or a payment form. Its hosting and network providers may process IP addresses, request times, browser details, requested URLs, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.
The public website and support portal are hosted on our server at parallel.unpoplar.com. The portal uses its own email/password accounts and essential authentication cookies. Reports and attachments are stored privately on the server. Our private development preview uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Hosting providers' policies apply to their services. Email support is delivered through Google's email service.
Links to Google Play or other services open sites with their own data practices. We do not control their cookies or account systems.
Security and permissions
The optional clone PIN is stored as a salted hash, not as plain text. PIN recovery uses the phone's own screen-lock confirmation. PIN protection controls opening a clone; it is not a promise of separate encryption or complete isolation.
Android permissions and device settings determine which capabilities are available. You can review and revoke permissions in Android Settings, although some functions may then stop working. No system can guarantee that data is completely secure.
Retention and deletion
Clone data remains locally until you remove it or clear Parallel Clone's app storage. Uninstalling the app normally removes its private on-device data; exported reports, screenshots, backups, and copies held by third-party services must be managed separately.
We retain support reports, attachments and correspondence while needed to investigate and follow up on the issue. You may request its deletion by email. Records needed for legal obligations, dispute handling, or security may be retained for those purposes; we will explain relevant exceptions when responding.
You can remove your uploaded attachments from the report page. Removing a file does not remove the rest of the report or its activity record. Contact support to request deletion of the report and associated personal information.
See data deletion for the request process. Deleting a clone does not delete an account held by a third-party app.
Your choices and questions
You can choose not to send diagnostics, omit screenshots, revoke device permissions, remove clones, or uninstall Parallel Clone. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of information we hold. Email us to make a request; we may need proportionate information to verify it, but never your password or OTP.
Parallel Clone is not intended to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review it. Third-party apps have their own age requirements.
When data practices change, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required by law. Changes to future membership or payment features will be described before those features collect data.
